(ERGO) – Rainfall was the predominant theme across the feedback from listeners around the country this week (15-21 October 2026) shared on Radio Ergo’s independent toll-free audience call-in platform. Beneficial rain was experienced by most callers, citing improved conditions for livestock and farms, replenished water sources, and cooler temperatures. Some noted that the rainfall had been unevenly spread or inconsistent across different locations. However, heavy rainfall that caused flooding, destruction of property, and displacement was noted by callers in two parts of Galgadud, and others in Middle Shabelle, Bay, and Gedo regions of the south. Some of those affected wanted assistance, including some IDPs. Drought continued for two callers in Togdher region and a few in southern parts.
