The main focus of this week’s calls (11-17 September 2025) to Radio Ergo’s nationwide audience feedback platform was continuing drought and water crisis across much of Galmudug, as well as parts of Sool, Sanag, Puntland, and Hirshabelle. Some of these callers said they were short of food and that people and livestock were facing tough conditions. A few callers in Middle Shabelle and Gedo regions said their crops had been destroyed by river floods. Rainfall was noted by some callers in parts of the north, as well as in parts of Galgadud and Hirshabelle. Callers reporting livestock diseases came predominantly from central regions.
