Drought and its impact remained the principal topic of concern for callers to Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform in the week 2-8 October 2025. Calls about water and food shortages, livestock losses, and general hardship came from locations across the north, central, and southern regions. Many callers mentioned hot temperatures. Displaced callers in several locations asked for help, including some who were displaced by conflict. Some callers noted rainfall, mainly in parts of central Somalia. There was a higher proportion of women calling the platform this week, especially on climate-related issues, food security, and IDP themes.
