Callers to Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform this week (11-17 July 2024) were concerned about the weather patterns across the country, with some complaining of lack of rain and water shortage and others reporting the arrival of rainfall beneficial to their livestock and farms. Livestock owners and farmers continued to describe their challenges and ask for help and advice from experts via the Radio Ergo specialist programmes. There were several calls requesting different types of assistance including flood recovery, shelter, water delivery, clearance of remnants of conflict, child vaccination, farming aid, and locust control.
