Many callers across the country this week (28 September to 4 October 2023) reported rainfall in their areas including some heavy downpours. At the same time a significant number of callers in various locations complained of continued drought and water shortage and the ongoing stress on lives and livelihoods. Some callers expressed concerns over the El Nino weather warnings they had heard with several requesting further information.
