The topics of most concern to Radio Ergo listeners during the last week of Ramadan (callers between 19-25 May) were the devastation caused to farms and grazing land by locusts; the spread of Coronavirus; displacement and losses caused by river Shabelle floods; and hardships facing IDPs in various locations.
The feedback platform is open for listeners to call in on the topic of their choice. We listen to and transcribe the messages received and compile weekly reports, as a way of sharing these local voices among a wider community, including national and international decision-makers and responders.
