(ERGO) – The calls this week (14-20 August 2025) to Radio Ergo’s nationwide audience feedback platform contained the recently common mix of complaints about drought mainly in northern, central, and some Hirshabelle locations; announcements of rainfall across a few similarly scattered areas; a call about flooding from farmers in Jowhar; and calls about farms doing well and harvests going on in Bay and Gedo regions. Callers expressed disappointment about the absence of broadcasts of the weather forecasts. Conflicts continued to blight communities in Hiran and Galgadud, and stories of debt and hardship were shared by two single mothers.
