There was an increase in the number of calls about drought this week (5-11 June 2025), with callers to Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform citing a lack or inadequacy of rainfall this season in northern regions Togdher and Sanag, Mudug, and also Gedo. On the other hand, callers notably in Galgadud and Hirshabelle areas spoke of their farms and livestock doing well with rainfall in their areas. There were several calls from IDPs asking for aid. The following summarises the calls by theme.
