(ERGO) – Calls this week (1-7 August 2024) to Radio Ergo’s independent nationwide audience feedback platform included reports of differing weather patterns across the country, as has been the case in the past few weeks. Callers mentioning the impact of drought and water shortage came particularly from Sanag and central regions. Those citing rainfall appeared to be mainly from northern regions such as Togdher and parts of Puntland, as well riverine districts in the south. A number of callers in Hirshabelle spoke of their fears of river flooding as they saw water levels rising in the river Shabelle.
