Noticeable topics of concern among callers this week (6-12 June 2024) included the needs for assistance raised by IDPs in Hirshabelle and Gedo. Also, a number of callers in Galgadud spoke about the impact of clan conflicts that they wanted leaders to settle. Many farmers in earlier flood-hit regions wanted help with crop pests. Whilst the biggest number of calls to the platform was about beneficial rainfall across different regions of the country, several callers in scattered areas called to raise concerns about inadequate rainfall, drought conditions and water shortage.
