Among the calls to Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform this week (30 May to 5 June 2024), several callers, including farmers in parts of Hirshabelle, spoke about how they had been impacted by the recent river floods. A number of callers in southern and central regions reported a rise in malaria and diarrhoeal diseases following the rainfall in their areas. Callers especially in northern and southern region continued to report rainfall in their areas, with some noting very high temperatures.  A few callers, notably in Puntland, said they were facing drought and water shortage, with some mentioning livestock deaths.
