Most calls to Radio Ergo’s independent audience feedback platform this week (25 April – 1 May 2024) were about the arrival of rainfall across many parts of the country, with several callers talking about floods or their fears of possible flooding especially in the southern riverine areas. On the other hand, a few callers notably in Puntland and Mudug complained of extremely high temperatures and continuing drought. Calls from livestock owners included complaints about ticks and other parasites affecting their animals. A few callers spoke about health issues including diarrhoea, malaria and malnutrition.
