(ERGO) – Many callers to Radio Ergo’s feedback platform this week (3-9 August 2023) commented on either rainfall or the return to dry weather in their areas. A few callers in different places noted food shortages and water scarcity. There were several calls from IDP and/or other community members saying aid had stopped being sent to their food cards, or that they needed aid. Farmers with questions for the radio’s agriculture programme noted persistent crop pests that resisted the pesticides being used.
