Among the calls to Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform this week (12-18 January 2023), most messages focused on the harsh effects of the continuing drought with lack of water and food, increasing displacement, and inability to keep livestock alive or to sell them. Many callers asked for assistance from government and/or aid agencies, and there were several questions about cash aid distribution and the plight of IDPs in camps. There were a few calls welcoming localised rainfall in some parts of the country.
