Calls to Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform this week (29 September to 5 October 2022) included a sizeable number of people reporting rainfall in their areas and sharing their hopes of improvements, notably in parts of Somaliland, Galmudug, and a few from Kismayo. However, the majority of callers spoke of no rainfall and worsening drought conditions with lack of water, bare land, dead or dying livestock, displacement, food shortages and high prices. Many callers, including some saying they were IDPs, complained of lack of aid.
