(ERGO) – The callers to Radio Ergo’s independent feedback platform this week (29 July – 3 August 2021) continued to be preoccupied by multiple challenges including water scarcity, prolonged drought, locust attacks, livestock stress, and general rising food insecurity. There were also reports of disease outbreaks from certain areas, and ongoing calls about COVID19. As awareness of the impact of climate change grows among audiences, there were more calls about environmental issues including deforestation and waste dumping.
