As in the previous few weeks, the majority of calls to Radio Ergo’s independent platform this week (10-18 November 2020) continued to be complaints from across the country about desert locusts devouring crops and grassland. Most were from central regions, with others from southern and northern areas. There were some complaints about unverified aid diversion in Sanag and Jowhar. Callers continued to have some questions and comments about Coronavirus.
The feedback platform is open for listeners to call in on the topic of their choice. We listen to and transcribe the messages received and compile weekly reports, as a way of sharing these local voices among a wider community, including national and international decision-makers and responders.
