Invasive locusts continued to be the primary source of complaint among callers this week (20-27 August 2020), with numerous calls from northern, central, and some southern regions. Other main concerns were about Coronavirus symptoms and prevention, and people’s neglect of the prevention measures. Callers from Galmudug and Hiran complained about the influx of khat across the Ethiopian border. There were also a large number of calls on food security related issues, including the effects of river flooding, rising food prices, and lack of jobs.
