The topics of most concern to Radio Ergo listeners over the past week (28 April to 5 May 2020) were Floods and Locusts, with Coronavirus in the background. The calls about Coronavirus were fewer in number, with several asking questions about the disease, but the majority sharing reports and comments on other topical issues affecting lives and livelihoods, in particular floods and locusts.
The feedback platform is open for listeners to call in on the topic of their choice. We listen to and transcribe the messages received and compile weekly reports, as a way of sharing these local voices among a wider community, including national and international decision-makers and responders.
