In the week 28 August to 3 September 2025, many calls to Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform cited continuing drought and severe water shortages, in particular in northern, central, and also a few southern areas. A smaller number of calls from scattered parts of the country noted rain or signs of pending rain. Other themes raised by callers were a lack of job opportunities, lack of aid in IDP camps, and displacements caused by conflict.
