Most callers who recorded messages on the Radio Ergo feedback platform during the week 7-13 May 2025 talked about rainfall in their areas and the improvements the rain had brought to their livestock and farms. Some said they had received a lot of rain, although others mentioned that it was less than anticipated. The bulk of these calls came from across Galgadud, Hirshabelle regions, and Gedo. A smaller number of callers notably from the north complained of continuing drought and its harsh impact. Many callers wanted help and advice with sick livestock, whilst farmers wanted help with pests attacking their crops.
