Calls this week (15-21 August 2024) to Radio Ergo’s nationwide audience feedback platform included a range of topics and concerns, including the continuing uneven spread of rain in some areas with drought in others. Strong destructive winds in central areas were of concern to some callers, whilst farmers in Hirshabelle remained fearful of flooding seeing the rising water levels in the river Shabelle. As usual callers were keen to receive more weather forecast information. Livestock herders particularly in Galmudug were concerned about diseases killing their sheep and goats and wanted the authorities to intervene.
