The big majority of calls this week (2-8 May 2024) to Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform came from callers across the country describing the beneficial effects on their lives and livelihoods of the current rainfall. These callers were spread across northern, central and southern regions. On the other hand, a significant number of callers especially in parts of Hirshabelle spoke of heavy rainfall leading to flooding or fears of imminent flooding. A few others in Togdher, Galgadud, and Gedo also spoke of flash flooding or fears of river floods.
