(ERGO) – The calls this week (7-13 March 2024) harvested from Radio Ergo’s audience feedback platform were characterised overall by preoccupations with the absence or arrival of rainfall in different areas, livestock diseases, and problems caused by farm crop pests. The number of people complaining about drought conditions and water shortage increased from the previous week, with a wider spread beyond northern regions to include central and southern regions as well. Some callers spoke of food shortage and the need for aid.
