Calls this week (15-21 February 2024) to Radio Ergo’s nationwide audience feedback platform captured a range of concerns, including drought and water shortage particularly in the north, crop pests especially affecting southern riverine farming areas, and livestock diseases both in areas recovering from floods and other areas experiencing drought. A number of callers in different regions complained of food shortage, high prices and rising cost of living, and lack of jobs. Diseases including malaria and measles were also mentioned by a few callers.
