(ERGO) – There was an increase in the number of callers complaining about drought and water shortage this week (31 August-7 September 2023) as compared to the previous week, especially from central regions of the country. As previously, callers in some areas also reported rainfall which created an overall mixed picture. A few callers noted the disruption caused by conflict on lives and livelihoods. Two callers spoke of an outbreak of flu in their areas. The farming and livestock programmes were popular with callers seeking advice and intervention.
