(ERGO) – The main concerns of callers to Radio Ergo’s independent feedback platform this week (7-12 May 2021) were the floods and destructive heavy rainfall across many northern and riverine areas, washing away livestock and leaving people without shelter; the return of locusts destroying crops and grassland; and food security distress in rural areas and among IDPs. Some areas reported continuing drought and water shortages. Coronavirus remained a concern in some areas.
