The topic dominating this week’s calls to Radio Ergo (16-21 October 2020), as in the previous week, was the invasion of new waves of desert locusts, especially across northern and central regions. There was also an increase in the number of people reporting scarcity of water and concerns over food security from various regions.

The feedback platform is open for listeners to call in on the topic of their choice. We listen to and transcribe the messages received and compile weekly reports, as a way of sharing these local voices among a wider community, including national and international decision-makers and responders.
