This week (21-27 September 2023) the calls to Radio Ergo’s independent feedback platform indicated the start of Deyr rainfall in many parts of the country, whilst certain locations remained drought stricken. A number of pastoralist callers in central and southern regions complained of the continuing loss of their animals due to drought and water shortage. Listeners indicated that they were keenly following weather forecasts aired on the radio.
