(ERGO) – Heavy rainfall and flooding were the main causes of concern to callers to Radio Ergo’s independent audience feedback platform this week (23-30 November 2023). Flood-related calls were especially numerous from southern states of Hirshabelle, South West, and Jubaland. Many callers wanted lifesaving assistance and aid. Some cited health concerns with mosquitoes infesting stagnant flood water. At the same time, a large number of callers across different regions noted that rainfall was helping the recovery of livestock and farms.
